Englert general and architectural sales representatives and architectural support staff came to the company’s Perth Amboy, New Jersey headquarters from all over the country earlier this month for a two-day seminar on new developments in solar roofing technology.

The two-day classroom and hands-on workshop focused on developments in crystalline and laminate photovoltaic systems, the latest financial options for buying it and federal, state and local financial support for it. The reps also got a hands-on demonstration at Englert’s training facility from Metanna, a supplier of photovoltaic materials, on crystalline and laminate PV installation. Metanna executives Robert Kiessling, Gary Manlove, Jason Watts and Vince Barletto were key presenters. S-5! Founder Rob Haddock also demonstrated a step-by-step use of clamps in attaching crystalline panels to an Englert standing seam metal roof.
