GAF to Offer Master Elite and Certified Contractors Reduced Fees for Low- or No-Interest Financing

WAYNE, N.J. — GAF is introducing an industry leading promotion exclusively for its Master Elite™ and Certified™ Contractors. For a limited time, GAF Factory-Certified contractors can turn more of their estimates into sales, realize greater margins, and improve their customer satisfaction by offering homeowners one of two special payment plan options at virtually no cost.

The first plan offers consumers no interest if paid in full within 18 months. The second option gives homeowners a reduced rate of 6.90% APR with custom payments. Both options are offered by GAF and Wells Fargo at no extra charge to the contractor beyond the minimum administrative fee already paid to be part of a financing program.

Jim Slauson, vice president of Certified Contractor Programs said, “In today’s economy, offering consumers payment options just makes good business sense. Financing is a huge opportunity for our contractors and we are confident that this promotion combined with our newly announced GAF Lifetime Roofing System warranty upgrade will help them close even more sales.”

The program will be launched in select markets throughout the U.S. beginning on April 1, 2012. In order to take advantage of this promotion, contractors must be enrolled in the Wells Fargo Financing program. For an enrollment application or to learn more about the Wells Fargo Financing program, visit the Certified Contractor Zone at: www.contractors.gaf.com or call Wells Fargo Financial at 1-800-654-0259.
